Attention Frustrated Beginner!

Still Can't Pick Up And Play Guitar? Here's A New Approach To Finally Get Over That Beginner Hurdle.

I remember exactly what it was like to be a beginner…
Before I was able to play music…

I had a love-hate relationship with my guitar.

I had all these ideas… these aspirations…

But it all felt a million miles away.

You see… back when I was starting out…

Nothing I did sounded good.

The strings wouldn't ring out…

My fingers hurt…

I couldn't move my hands fast enough to make those chord changes…

I felt like my hands weren't the right shape…

I could never seem to play in time to a song…

I would always come up against brick walls in songs…

Sections I couldn’t get through… no matter how much I practiced.

The list goes on…

I yoyoed between putting the guitar down…

Trying again…

Putting it down…

Trying again…

And so the cycle continued.

Except each time I would try again…

I had all the frustration of the previous times I had tried…

The pain of not being able to do it…

The doubt whether this time would be the time it worked…

My relationship began to change with the guitar…

From being excitement… to dread and self doubt.

And I began to wonder if I would ever be able to play…

Or if it was something I simply wasn't destine to do in life.

In 30 Days This Could Be You

Thankfully… over the years of playing and teaching…

I've figured out what it takes to get someone over the beginner hurdle.

I've gone out and tried and tested all the exercises…

Both on myself and my students…

Everything from:
  •   How to install chords into your memory like Neo from the Matrix
  • My #1 chord training exercise that helps speed up chord changes
  • How your heartbeat can help you always keep time with music
  • The REAL beginner chords… where to start so you can make the guitar sound good
  • The single most important habit you need to be able to improve (hint: it's going nothing to do with WHAT you practice)
  • And much more…
Up until now… I kept all this behind closed doors with my students who pay me hundreds every month…

I was anxious about sharing my secrets with the outside world…

Out of fear that someone would steal my hard work and use it for themselves…

But then I'd be denying you what I've figured out…

So I made a choice…

I'm ready to share with you the exercises I use on all my beginner students…

But before I do… I want to share with you the top mistakes I see that hold beginners back…

These mistakes separate out the beginners who make it…

Or those who get stuck in the beginner stage forever.

The Top 3 Mistakes Beginners Make When Learning The Guitar

Mistake #1: Learning Chords That Aren't "Beginner Friendly"

This is one of the biggest mistakes I see beginner make…

We've all seen them…

Those YouTube videos that claim to teach you "beginner" or "easy" chords…

Yet most of the time… these chords are not beginner…

Nor do they feel easy.

And what's worse… how does it feel when something is supposed to be easy…

Is supposed to be beginner… and you just can't do it.

Feels good right?

Of course not…

Let's imagine you wanted to teach your child how to swim…

(If you don't have a child… imagine you do… even if you don't want one)

You go off to the swimming pool… and it's his first day in the pool.

What do you think would be the best way to start him off?

Do you think it's to take him to the adult pool…

Where the water is 1.5m deep…

And then through him in and hope he learns?

Of course not!

Or how about if you were teaching him how to ride a bike…

Would you buy him his first bike…

And then without any real preparation…

Take him on a trip down dangerous roads without any stabilisers?

I doubt it.

Here's the thing… you're not a child… I get that…

But we have to start off playing chords that are manageable…

Chords that you can make sound good…

That you can use in a song… and you can actually play in time with the music.

Just because we're adults now… doesn't mean we shouldn't take the appropriate baby steps first.

People learn faster when they're having fun…

Not when they're drowning in the deep end.

Instead of learning these not-so-beginner chords…

I've developed a three-tier system to help any beginner go from the most basic of chords…

Right up to some of the ones that other YouTube videos start.

And what's best is these chords sound good…

They're easier to remember…

And you can use them in songs without too much stress

(It's still going to take some practice… these chords aren't a magic pill)

Which leads me onto the second mistake I see people make…

Mistake #2: Looking For The "Magic Pill"

In my experience… many guitar players are looking for a magic pill…

They're looking for something that they can do that will solve everything for them.

Want to know why I know this?

Look on YouTube…

You'll find hundreds of videos saying things like…

"The one weird trick I discovered that fixed my strumming"

"The secret four chords you need to know to sound pro"

Etc…

The problem with these things is NOT the content… believe it or not.

Oftentimes what these people are teaching is cool…

But it's a bit like if you had your leg blown off…

And you try to stop the bleeding with a plaster.

I mean… that plaster might be doing something…

But we're not tending to the real problem (the fact your leg got blown off)

The problem with the "magic pill" people are searching for…

Is that it's all about instant gratification…

People aren't willing to put in a little bit of hard work for some reward.

Learning to play guitar is NOT and instant gratification thing…

If you want that… go and play some video games.

Guitar has its ups and downs…

We all have good days… we have bad days…

The most important thing I've discovered for beginners…

Is that they need to stick to something in the beginning to get the ball rolling properly.

Does that mean you can practice any old thing? Any old method?

Sure…

But what I've put together is a collection of tried, tested, and proven exercises…

All wrapped up within the little-known habit that I teach people in my 30 Day Beginner Challenge course.

Having the right exercises to do is important…

It cuts out a lot of the work that most other players do…

You still have to do the work…

But wouldn't you rather see a greater reward at the end of it?

Say… being able to play through four songs?

This search for WHAT to do… and HOW to do it…

Is only really one small piece of the puzzle…

Mistake #3: Looking For The What… Or How To Practice

I'll admit…

Even though I've put together this course with the best exercises I know…

All the ones I've tested hundreds of my beginner students…

Doing my best to remove any fat from learning process…

It's still not the best thing about this course.

Look these exercises I'm going to show you are revolutionary…

They work…

But they only work if they're backed up with something more important.

If there’s a guy who knows what habits you need to improve at music… it’s Ed Sheeran.

His rags to riches story is inspiring…

But something overlooked a lot is his thoughts about learning.

In a video I saw of him… Ed Sheeran talks about getting the “tap” running with songwriting…

He says that you have to think about it like turning on a dirty tap… at first it’s going to run with muddy water…

And if you turn it off there… you’ll think this tap is just filthy…

But if you keep that tap running… eventually clean water will come out.

You have to build the habit of actually doing the writing… and then the good songs will come.

Well… the exact same thing is true for guitar…

When it comes to learning guitar… Of course you’re going to be bad in the beginning…

Everyone is bad at the beginning… with every new skill…

Do you think Jimi Hendrix flew out of his mother being able to play like that?...

Of course not…

He was just like everyone else as a baby…

But he practised a lot!

Fun fact… Hendrix used to take his guitar to the toilet with him to keep practising…

 I’m not recommending this… But, I can’t stop you…

The most important part about guitar… is actually picking it up…

You have to be in a groove of playing regularly to actually make progress.

What separates people who get really good at guitar from those who don’t?

They love it.

They learn to love playing the guitar...

At first it might feel like a real chore…

But here’s what I recommend….

Play What You Love… Until You Love To Play

Even if you had no teacher… and no lessons… and no idea what you were doing…

Literally… if the only thing you did each day for the next month is pick up the guitar… and play around with it trying out songs you like...

Discovering things about it… working out how to play it…

Do you think you’d be able to play something by the end of the month?

I can tell you (from experience) that you would.

You'd be significantly better… just because you would have spent time playing the guitar...

So many people get started on the guitar… then go into a world of the internet with a million YouTube videos…

And before you know it they aren’t sure what to practise any more…

How do I know?

Because years later they come to see me when they want to start playing again…

But the answer is really just to go and get started…

The internet has some amazing gifts… and also some big drawbacks…

One gift is you now have access to everyone who has ever picked up a guitar and they can give you free lessons…

The problem is that it’s wildly overwhelming…

And most often the exercises too difficult for a beginner to actually do.

Imagine waking up in 30 days...

You grab your coffee and you sit down to pick up your guitar...

You can confidently... and easily play a song...

You're able to play for enjoyment for the first time ever...

And it's fun...

Your fingers don't hurt... and those fingers haven't forgotten what to do...

Finally you're over the hump... You're over the very beginning of the guitar...

Heck, you've probably learned a whole song at this point...

Isn't one song all you need to be able to play the guitar?

You don't need to play lots of songs... just one song really well...

If someone asks you if you play the guitar... you'll be the person who says "sure"...

You pick up the guitar... nail that one song...

"More, More" they shout...

'No, I'm good' you say....

They are so impressed by your talent...

The secret they'll never know is that you can't even play another song...

Because you can just play that one song.

This is why I created this course…

I want you to get into the habit of playing…

So what is my 30 Day Beginner Challenge?

Our Students

Since this is a brand new course, these are reviews from our students who currently work with us online.
"I would highly recommend Guitar Tuition East London for any level of abilities.

Even if you are a totally beginner or a seasoned professional"

Matt B.
"Being here has helped me so much with my confidence and that's the biggest thing I love about guitar lessons at this guitar school. Unlike other guitar teachers I've had before.

I had been playing guitar for 8 years before, and been having lessons for a year and a half with another guitar teacher. And it wasn't until I was at this guitar school that I made so much progress. The guitar lessons here are really tailored to you and what you want to achieve rather than being set in a strict way or doing what the teacher wants to do only. And that's what it's the best guitar school around London."

Jon L.
"It's such a fun atmosphere to be in, whatever level you are at, you will still be surprised how much you can learn.

If you want to start learning guitar as an adult, you will definitely benefit from being in guitar lessons here."

Bonus #4 How To Tune Your Guitar
This is a short course you’ll get access to so that you can learn to get that guitar in tune before our first session.

When I thought about how to price this 30 day guitar challenge including all the bonuses… I wondered what I should do..

I'm teaching you for thirty straight days in a row...

I have lots of students that I teach right now... If I spend thirty straight days training them the results would be incredible... But I have never done it before...

See...For one on one lessons I charge £100 an hour to teach people…

And no one's ever decided to just straight up do thirty days in a row...

If we were going do the same challenge with me in person… for 30 continuous days of lessons and exercises it would cost £3000...

£3000 is a lot of money...!

I know I'm not the most expensive teacher there is... But I’m highly aware that not everyone is able to pay what I charge for one on one guitar lessons. But I want to reach more people... and I want to help them get a start on the guitar...

So then I thought about what would the average London guitar teacher charge… and maybe I could do a discount to that...

In London most teachers range from £30-£50 an hour… So let's assume I charged £40 per day for 30 days…

Now it would be £1200 for 30 days…

Which is still a lot of money...

So I thought... If it costs less money... and I'm able to reach more people and get them great results... They will probably tell people... and I'll end up having more fun because I was able to help more people.

So for that reason...

The 30 day guitar challenge and all the daily lessons you're getting is only £150...

That's £1050 less than it would cost to do the same thing with an average guitar teacher...

BUT...

During the social distancing of 2020... i'm doing one final discount...

For me playing guitar is a big part of my mental health... It helps me to feel like I have achieved something each day... and it helps me to relax.

I get a lot of joy from it.

So right now as you're reading this page I am pricing the challenge at only £49.99 for the full 30 days, thats a full £100 off.

In order to buy it you just click on the link below and you will be taken through to our order form page.

It’s a simple form that takes less than 30 seconds to fill out.

We take payment through stripe or paypal, and you can use a wide range of credit or debit cards to pay.

Once you have entered your details into our secure payment system you will then be taken to a thank you page where you’ll get access to your bonuses and find ou the next steps for your challenge.

My Conditional Guarantee

I offer a 30 day conditional money back guarantee.

If you do the work... and put proof in our facebook group... and it doesn't make a huge impact in your guitar playing....

I will give you a full refund.

I do it this way because I want you to commit... That is exactly what guitar takes.. Commitment.

So I want you to succeed - I want you to do well from this.

A Fork In The Road...

Right now you are standing at a fork in the road.

You've travelled this far... and the Fork has 3 different paths you can choose from...

Path 1) You don't do the challenge... and you don't start playing the guitar... you wait to leave it until another time in your life...

Path 2) If you head along this path it means that you start playing guitar on your own... You have to figure it all out by yourself... Maybe you can go read some books, or search around on the internet for free answers...

Path 3) You start the challenge and get help from me... I've taught over a thousand beginners to play guitar... many of whom now play in bands and and love playing every day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this for a complete beginner?

Yes, if you have never played the guitar before at all.. you can join this course.

Can my child do the challenge?

This really designed for beginner adults... Everything I say and do will work with kids too…

But.. many children will need it to go from a beginner level that's even easier than what we cover in this challenge... So this would probably better if they play a little bit already.

So... you can enrol as an adult and then give your child access to everything..

Depending on age children have different needs than adults... (if they are very young). We do teach children though, and you can reach out about those lessons by emailing lessons@guitartuitioneastlondon.co.uk

What If I’m not a beginner, can I join in the challenge?

Kind of...

I teach through principle and examples…

Principles are universal and will work for every one… that means that any level will be able to work with the principles…

In this course all my examples are for beginner guitar players... So as long as you understand that... you would be welcome to join the 30 day challenge.

What If I don’t own a guitar?
In the bonuses I’ll teach you how to get your first guitar… There’s advice on what to buy… or if you want to get one for free you can do that too..

Do I have to do EVERY day for 30 days?

If you miss a day or two… I’m not going to know...

I’m not going to come round your house and tell you off...

And I want you to know its not a big deal missing a day or two... It's always just about getting back to it and practising.

I know that some people will practise every single day… and others will miss the odd day here or there.... and some people will do very little practice (don't be that one)...

So what I’ve decided is to make the weekends optional..

You’ll receive emails with exactly what to do 7 days a week… But if you want to tae saturday and sunday off… you can, and I make this clear in my expectations in the course.

Weekends can be for family time… or maybe party time... or netflix time...

Maybe you'll just want to give your fingers a break...

The other option with those weekends is to catch up on anything you didn’t do in the week.

How much time do I need to set aside each day?

You’ll need about 30 minutes a day.

Sometimes it will a bit more… and sometimes it’s a lot less…

But on average for the 30 days it will take you about 30 minutes a day to do the work and tasks I set you.

Can I do this challenge if I’m already a student at your guitar school?

Yes you are welcome to join the challenge as well... You'll probably have a lot of fun.

Is this for me if I used to play but haven’t picked it up in a long time?

Yes...

Normally I find that people who used to play but have taken a long break find it helpful to go right from the beginning… And when they do they pick up steam pretty fast and get into it well.

It’s a pretty good confidence booster to realise you can really learn from the beginning.

How will I get the videos?
I will send you the videos in your emails. Some days will have accompanying videos for you to watch (they are quite short).. And other days you will just have tasks to do.
